Let's begin this Skabadoo update with...fishies!!

Sequoia, my little nature boy, loves them!

Aw, I didn't know toddlers could watch the fish too!

But it can be exhausting.

Poor Sequoia didn't land a single hit on his mother.

And not even hiding in the sunflowers helped him avoid her projectiles!

Julian, meanwhile, is still on the hunt for aliens.

"Maybe if I shared a room with that big picture frame, I would actually get some sleep..."

But once he's awake and free from his crib, Rowan is good about playing quietly for his big brother. :)

Rose and Julian sneak away for some time to themselves...and to playtest the newest community lot in Skabadooville.

Rose finds some unusual rollerskates.

Hmm, not the most romantic date...

Ah, that's better!

Yay, my first green-skinned NPC/townie! :D

And a cool-looking warlock too. My game is so good about giving me interesting NPCs. :)

Might as well buy some groceries while they're here.

Back at home, there's some cute brotherly bonding going on. :)

Ah, child labour. So useful. :) Good thing Sequoia loves the great outdors!

His mother, on the other hand, prefers the nice and warm indoors.

"Argh, bad grades! I'll just hide the evidence..."

Yep, for sure nobody saw that, Sequoia. You must inherit your sneakyness from your mother.

Oh hey, a bunch of people, including gnome-nappers. Must be a party! :D

Also, that sporty kid came home with Sequoia on the bus. His name is Kalvei. Get used to seeing him around often.

"I spy with my little eye...a flaming idiot!"

"Oh hey, can I call you back? I'm kind of in the middle of my kid's birthday right now."

Hang up the phone, Jules! Your kid is growing up right now!

Aw, he's so happy. :)

Poor Sequoia couldn't stand to see him mum starting fights. Birthdays are supposed to be happy times! :(

But then Rose came in to comfort him, which is one of the sweetest most heart-warming interactions in the game. :')

Yeah, I took a lot of pictures...and was "Aw-ing" all over them. :)

Meanwhile Rowan is completely oblivious to his brother's sensitive feelings and is making friends with Kalvei.

They're completely oblivious to a few things, actually.

It ain't a real party until Cowboy Bob starts a fight with someone. -_-

Once Sequoia's calmed down, he chats a bit with Kalvei too. By the end of the party, they're good friends. :)

Rowan gets a new outift...and tries some new dance moves too. :D

He also decides he wants to learn how to do homework, but because he's never been to school yet, he has to tackle Sequoia's pile. Feeling some regrets, Rowan?

"Oh, rain...yes!" :D

"Rowan, Rowan! Wake up, it's raining outside!"

"Oh my gosh! When did you learn how to read?"
"They do teach me a few things in school, mum..."

Mmm, cake for breakfast!

"Hey! You interrupted my breakfast!"

"Ah well, it's still good."

The two boys have very different levels of productivity in the morning. ;)

Ick, no wonder they choose to eat outside  when the dining room looks like that! Better hope that made shows up soon.

I wonder if that licence plate actually means something, or if it was just random numbers. Because I see N64 and I just think good gaming memories. :)

"Argh! Why are my grades so terrible?!"

Hmm, I wonder...

"I got a D... Boy, that sucks. Maybe I should actually do my homework for once?"

Kids sit on toilets super weirdly...

Kalvei came home with the kids again.

And Rowan has a surprise for his friend!

Soooo not impressed. :P

Sequoia is still a friend to the fish. :)

HB#2 shows up, considers causing more trouble, and wisely decides against it.

Beware, nice clean bathrooms...it's Splashzilla!

"Victory! Yes!"

"Aw man, I suck!"

But they're still best friends. :)

And we'll end on the note of a sleepy Sequoia. :)

Until next time, thanks for reading! :D

I have never seen the comfort crying interaction in the game as-is! I mean, I've seen it, because I've used cheats to do it, but never have I seen it actually happen! That's so sweet!!!

The kids are adorable!

Isn't it the cutest? I think I've only seen it before when parents divorced, which does not happen often, so it was a surprise to see it happen after something so minor as a shove, but I guess Sequoia's just a sensitive soul. Adds to the cute. :)

The autonomous interactions in the game are the coolest, like the tucking in and comforting - and cleaning windows! And your game really gives you intersting NPCs! My game tends to spawn hordes of guys with body-paint (just because I don't like it...) and the most awful hairs in my DL folder as well. How does the game know what will annoy me the most? That's not creepy at all... ;)

Awww, the kids are both so cute and funny :) I'm glad they made friends with Kalvei!
Hehe, rollerskates can be so funny! I always laugh when I see them on high heeled shoes XD But that barefeet one was just hilarious XD
Ah, poor Sequoia! Seeing kids cry makes me so sad :( Good thing that Rose comforted him, aww :3
And sorry for the super late comment :)

I never turn the cut scenes on for birthdays, but now I have to next time a toddler transitions, it looked so cute.
